And I'm not the only one... it seems our little community have all had our fair share of unusual things to deal with courtesy of our ink.
1. Sarcastic responses to inane questions
Sometimes it is just too difficult to come up with a genuine and non-sarcastic answer to "did it hurt?"

2. The importance of personal space
You lose personal space very quickly with visible tattoos... lose time faster if on a night out with alcohol induced friends... and strangers. This also applies to staring!

3. We do not know when we will stop having tattoos
So just don't ask, please

5. Prejudice against tattoos
The saying of 'the difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people, is tattooed people don't care that you don't have tattoos' is pretty spot on. You won't find many, if any, tattooed people preaching that you should have a tattoo. It's a personal choice. But you won't go far to find a non-tattooed person who will preach that it is 'against God' or 'ruins your natural beauty' etc.
If you preach - stop - it is pointless. It is a personal choice - simple!
Are you tattooed? Have you come up against something that only a tattooed person can understand? Please share your stories in the comments below!
