Do you know what one of my favourite, completely useless, pastimes to do is?
I like to plan what I'd do if I won the lottery.
It might seem a teeny bit sad to be planning something that has odds very much not in my favour, but it's a nice little thing to think about when walking home from swim class whilst Henry chills in the stroller.
Now when I say a lottery win, I do mean a big one. Go big or go home.
And my thoughts usually go a little something like this:
I'd definitely build my own house. Somewhere in Hampshire for sure. Not too big, but definitely not small. Rustic and homely but with huge windows and beautiful (preferably sea) views.
But hell am I sticking around whilst it's being built. We'll go travel. Pay someone to oversee the build and Skype us.
I wonder who would look after the cats and rabbit whilst we're gone. Maybe Alice?
Oh speaking of animals, we could get a horse for Henry. He likes horses. I've always wanted to learn to ride a horse. Hope it doesn't bite me.
Shadowfax is a great name for a horse. Shout out to Lord of the Rings. Oh and maybe a grey one called Gandalf.
Oh and a dog. A big fluffy white one that kind of looks like a polar bear.
Definitely called Balthazar. 100%.
Ok so back to the travels. Where first?
Bora Bora. Yep. Just got to convince Dann to get on the plane... in first class! Oh I've always wanted to travel first class.
Then Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa, New York, Hawaii..... maybe not that in that order, but oh man, I want to go to ALLLLL the places!!
We'd also need to look after our parents. Maybe a nice little house each? And definitely private healthcare for my mum for her back. Always nice to give something back.
Oh and help out our sisters. They deserve a treat.
Oh I'd also like a car. And Dann will probably want one too.
A little Fiat 500 for me. Baby blue, with a cream interior.
Dann can choose the family car.
Yay, we could have more babies. Hopefully I won't be as sick.... but hey I'll be rich... who cares!!
Oh I'd be able to decorate the house from Anthropologie and Homesense!!
OK I'm going to google homeware when I get home for my dream house.....
