You know you're a mum when....
After weeks of feeling totally useless and spending a lot of time in bed, I finally feel like me again.
It really took it's toll, especially on how I saw myself as a mother as I wasn't really doing a huge amount of actual parenting as I either in bed or the bathroom.
But I've got my mama crown on now, and am feeling top of my motherhood game. In fact I'm pretty excited to become a mum of two this year.
So I thought I'd share some things that are clear-cut signs that you are a mum (tongue in cheek, of course).
You find six mugs of cold half-drunk tea dotted around the house.
Toast crusts aren't safe from small hands.
There's something sticky on your trouser leg, and you're not that bothered by it - it's probably jam.
You've taken to wearing slippers for safety rather than warmth - Lego/Duplo really hurts bare feet.
You know ALL the words to How to train your Dragon - or what ever other film your small being adores!
There are toys in your sock drawer... That you didn't put there.
You sneak your favourite food whilst they're napping/in another room/out of the house!
"If I have to ask one more time" is part of your vocabulary.
Tiny baby sleepsuits bring you more joy than new shoes.
Your favourite smell is that new baby scent. There really isn't anything more intoxicating!
What else makes you think of being a mum??
